I am sad to learn of George Mills’ death. I owned a letterpress shop in Fayetteville, (1970s); George was a good friend & taught me much. I haven’t seen him in 20 years, but I will never forget him.
I am sad to learn of George Mills’ death. I owned a letterpress shop in Fayetteville, (1970s); George was a good friend & taught me much. I haven’t seen him in 20 years, but I will never forget him.
For those of you who didn’t know him, George had been a professor of printing at Carnegie-Melon in Pa. and was the author of a definitive book on letterpress printing, still on many printers’ shelves.
