I am posting this on behalf of the deceased owner’s son-in-law, who knows little about the press or it’s history. I haven’t been able to view this press myself, as I am quite a distance from it.
It’s very rusty and needs a lot of cleaning up, but the flywheel turns and there are no signs of cracks or obvious broken parts. It has not been used for 20 years or so, and is stored out of the weather in a shed. The son-in-law has measured the rough print area and thinks its about a 10x15, but not totally sure. No rollers.
There is some lead type but it is all a single box, someone at some stage was cleaning up. Unsure of how much and I doubt if anything is labelled. There are some drawers used to store other items also, and are not in great condition.
Price is negotiable (perhaps optional), and pick up is required by Anzac Day weekend (26-27 April). Please give Matt a call, he may not be able to answer many questions about the press, but would like to see it go to a good home.
