Professional bookbinder and letterpress printer offers weekend and evening classses in letterpress printing, bookbinding, boxmaking and book arts at all levels. Covers fundamentsal of setting type by hand, operating platen and flatbed presses, typography, design, professional tips and techniques in benchwork for binding, &c.
The studio has a number of presses, a guillotine paper cutter, a board shear, over 100 cases of type, an extensive library of fine press, artists’ books, and reference materials. Participants have been producing small edition award-winning books, broadsides, business cards, stationary and postcards. Enroll or re-enroll at any time, some materials provided.

I am looking for access to a local press, I worked in a studio in Denver as an intern for six months a little over a year ago. I moved to Seattle to look for work and am still trying to find the right job. I’d love to get my hands dirty and work on some materials for myself. Thank you
