Just looking at the pictures, I’d guess it to be a Sigwalt #3. It’s a nice press. As far as how old it is, it’s difficult to say. Sigwalts were in manufacture for a long time with very few changes. It could be from the 1920’s or 1950’s or even as late as 1962.
The value of these presses varies greatly depending upon where it is located, what condition it is in, and so forth. I’ve seen them go on EBay for as little a $150 or as much as $500.
This is a Sigwalt. Size is determined by the inside measure of the chase. The letters are called “type!”
