7x11 Chandler and Price Old Style

UPDATE - THE PRESS IS SOLD. IT IS SCHEDULED TO BE PICKED UP 4/11. I WILL REMOVE THE AD THEN.

Chandler and Price 7x11 Old Style printing press. Serial number 1719, indicating made in 1895.

The press is in generally good condition, with two exceptions (that I am aware of). 1. The left roller frame has a crack. The left roller frame may have also been welded on a different part of same area. 2. The throw off saddle is partially broken, such that only one bolt (instead of the original two)and wire the former owner wrapped around it attach it to the back shaft. It does not have much rust, definitely nothing beyond the surface. It is pretty dirty, of course.

Otherwise, the press seems to be in good condition. It opens and closes/moves smoothly and easily, using the flywheel or treadle. Once I noticed the crack I stopped using it, though.

I have two chases and three roller cores with trucks, but the rollers are in poor condition and would likely need to be replaced.

I have attached some pictures, including the front, the side, a closeup of the cracked roller frame, and a pic showing both the cracked roller frame and the saddle . Please let me know if you want more specific pics or if you have any other questions.

Thanks
