Old Adana HS no. 3 chase or advice needed

Hello, I have an old Adana HS no. 3 (size of 8 x 5.25) but with no chase. I have been watching on ebay but not found one. I am considering buying an 8x5 chase and using small quoins outside the chase to make up the difference but I am concerned it won’t work properly. Any suggestions are appreciated I am new to letterpress. Many Thanks.
