Grand Opening Dock 2 Letterpress Webster NY

DOCK 2 LETTERPRESS SHOP GRAND OPENING
AND AIGA UPSTNY SEASON OPENING EVENT

Please join us on Friday, September 18, 5-9 pm to celebrate the grand opening of the most innovative facility for letterpress printing in Rochester! Dock 2 Letterpress Print Shop owners, Dave Eckler and Tony Zanni have acquired a
vast collection of wood and metal type and working antique letterpresses. They are excited to give visitors an up-close look at the equipment and facility located at 855 Publishers Parkway, Dock 2 in Webster, New York.

The grand opening will include the operation of several letterpresses, giving visitors the experience of printing their own poster on the Wesel Iron Handpress (circa 1900), as well other demonstrations on antique printing presses. Dock 2 Letterpress will also be providing appetizers, beverages, door prizes and vendor tables.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required but appreciated.

The helpful and experienced designers at Dock 2 will assist you in the design of fine and distinctive letterpress invitations and promotional materials for your personal and business needs. In addition, Dock 2 is the place to learn more about letterpress through their hands-on classes and workshops for all skill levels.

Come see a cast of characters that haven’t been assembled in one locationin a long time…and see the type, too.
