Tabletop Platen Press 8 x10

Hello,

I am a letterpress hobbyist from sacramento. I haven’t been able to find many places locally that offer classes or workshops in book arts, so for some time now I have been looking into getting my own table top letterpress. I am looking for something I can practice and experiment on personal projects.

For the most part, I have only seen Kelsey tabletop presses, frequently 3 x 5. I was looking for something a bit larger, like 8 x 10 and hopefully not a kelsey because I have heard they can be troublesome. I didn’t want to buy a kelsey and become discourage if I have little success producing quality prints.

Any recommendations you all might have would be truly helpful.
