The C.C. Stern Type Foundry is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the art and industry of the cast letterform. The organization honors the memory of C. Christopher Stern, who built & operated the foundry at Stern & Faye, Printers, of Sedro-Woolley, WA.
The C.C. Stern Type Foundry provides public access to the largest collection of type casting equipment, tools and technical manuals in the Pacific Northwest. The Foundry offers arts and cultural heritage programs that serve printers, designers, literary & visual artists, educators & students, and the general public.
