Insula Typographica

Insula Typographica was established after an inspiring introductory course in letterpress printing at the Bodleian Library, Oxford. The private press-movement has never been strong in Sweden and the press is an attempt to promote the interest for fine printing and keeping traditional printing methods and bookmaking alive in Scandinavia. At the moment the press consists of a German platen jobber called “Tip-Top”, a small table top lever press by Gleitsmann and a galley proof press.
