Craftsman Superior

Hello Everyone,

I have an opportunity to purchase a tabletop Craftsman Superior 6.5 x 10 for $450! This sounds like a great deal, but wanted to get the expert’s opinion before purchasing. From viewing the photos, can anyone identify any obvious issues? Any parts I would need to replace (i.e., new rollers, new chase, etc.)?

Thanks in advance for your input, I appreciate it!

hard to tell from just pictures, but it looks complete, the rollers look pretty good too, i had one of these and it is a good press, i’ve seen them go for a lot more money, i think your getting a good deal, craftsman is in massachusetts and still has some parts for these presses. Good Luck Dick G.

That is a steal! Don’t let it pass you by.
I have a similar Craftsmen Superior. I would gladly pay the same for a press with good rollers.
Nice find.

Not certain, but it looks like it may be an aluminum model if this is so, even better. Much lighter.
