Standard Relief Base for Showcard Press

I’ve made contact both with Boxcar and Elum regarding using their standard relief base in my Showcard Press, however the response I’ve gotten from them, is that they are not familiar with that press, so they can’t comfortably make a recommendation.
Has anyone used a standard relief base in a Showcard? I would be looking at a 6x9 base as my Showcard measures approx. 8x11

We have used one on our Showcard with good results. However, our model has the height adjustment so height and impression are easily changed. Ours is also a large model 18 x 36 or thereabouts. Hope this info is helpful.

Thanks longdaypress, mine doesn’t have the height adjustment, which is what has me concerned. However, I’m of the mindset that if the base plus the plate are set to type high, then I should, hopefully, be OK.
