Starter Press (And where to find said press)?

I was looking to get a press, for myself and for possibly a club at school, and was wondering what press could be good for that sort of environment.
Also, where to get it would be very, very helpful. I live in Oregon.

One action you will want to do is search through the “Oregon” listings. You can do that by using the drop-down lists at the bottom of the classifieds page. I see that there’s a book art center in Portland.

I would focus on a tabletop press. It’s great to learn the basics on and you may find that a school will not be able to allow your club to use a floor model platen press without proper insurance and supervision.
A C&P Pilot would be the best option, but a Kelsey 5x8 or 6x10 would be great too.
