job/internship?

just joined briar press and i’m getting my feet wet in graphic design, but I fell in love with letterpress when i seen a book on hatch show print and would sell my soul to get accepted into their intern program…but i lack experience.

if there’s anyone here who would give someone like me a chance please let me know. i am more than willing to relocate if massachusetts is dry.

in this day where everything is digital and magazines are going under due to computer screens, i’m still holding on to the feeling of actually holding a book or a magazine. i love looking at posters up close to see the imperfections of the ink.

all i ask for is a chance.

Massachusetts is full of letterpress shops, one of the best printing museums in the world is in North Andover, Letterpress Things is a pretty large letterpress store in Chicopee. Where are you in Massachusetts, i’m in southeastern massachusetts and would be happy to show you a few things, i run a small letterpress shop in my garage full time. Let me know if you are interested and i will get you my number. Dick G.

I currently live on the North Shore…

Check out the yellow pages on this site, there is lots of info there, the museum of printing in Andover is worth the trip, they are open Fridays and Saturdays, there is a web page with all there info. good luck Dick G.
