Pied Oxen Printers produces and publishes limited editions. All books are designed, letterpress printed and hand-bound by the proprietor. Pied Oxen’s fully equipped workshop includes a variety of letter-presses (hand-platen, foot-treadled job, table top, cylinder proofing), as well as an intaglio press, and stone lithography press. Foundry type faces include Caslon, Baskerville, Garamond, Palatino, Optima, and a wide assortment of display faces cast by European foundries.
