Slight wobble on WM pulley

New install of WM at my place. (mid 1950’s unit) New wiring and switching stuff. Original GE motor with great strong silent running before belt was mounted. Once hung on the unit with belt, however, there is a little chatter from the outer flange of the pulley (T6010) wobbling a little at low speed. Too loud and discomforting. At rest I can wobble the flange a little— much more than on my other WM (newer, Red). Too easily, though it’s not in any way flopping around. Seems to me that the spring is much more beefy on the new press. Questions: Can I swap for a newer spring? Is it really less beefy, AND likely also worn out? Does the Rubber ring (ZZ9) act as a mechanical collar within to avoid this wobble along the motor shaft? (or likely just a grease boundary) Or is the spring expansion the real force for keeping the pulley aligned with the shaft? Finally, What’s the skinny on the R&R for the spring. (How does the locking ring come off ?)
