Need help 1. identifying the press. 2. figuring out where or how to build platen
Ok I just bought this press for dirt cheap. Everything is mechanically sound and the rulers are good.
1. Does anyone know if this press has a different name?
It says Eastern Marking Machine Corp on the side. And appears to print 3 x5”
2. It seems though the the platen/gripper is missing. Does anyone know where to get that piece? Or can take a photo of one so that I can fabricate something. I have friends that are wielders and fabricators.

After research on that site, seems to be a press that is made to mark parts. I think I can tweak it to hold paper though.
