Chandler Price Lever Paper Cutter 26”

This Chandler Price Lever Paper Cutter 26” is in excellent working condition and comes with a total of 4 blades. It’s serial number is S746 which according the CP listings it would have been made circa 1909.

We are told it came to our art studio in the early 1930’s from a print shop in Maryville, Missouri. It has quite a history in that the Frederick W. Tamblyn Engrossing Art Studio and School of Penmanship brought it to KC, it was used extensively by Stephen A. Ziller who took over from Tamblyn and the studio then became Ziller of Kansas City in 1936. The pictures you see below is where the cutter currently is our studio in Leawood, KS. The paper cutter has been painted black satin enamel and has been well cared for. Many years ago the handle broke and was re-welded which has not adversely affected its operation. Comes with wrenches for blade removal.

You will need to pick up. It is quite heavy but some parts can be disassembled to move it from the art studio at the back of the house, up a few steps to the front driveway and onto the lift gate of a truck.

We are relocating our art studio and find that we no longer have a need for this piece of equipment. It’s ready to go to work for you! Let’s give this guy a new home.

Price is $525.00 - you move.

Please contact us if you have any questions or need additional information.

Thanks,
Rich
