I have a 8 x 12 Chandler Price letterpress. Serial number B58618 with what I believe to be, the original motor in perfect working condition. Also, I have 12, five pound cans of ink that I’ll throw in — various colors. Most of it is is “Action” ink, and I believe it’s rubber base, or acrylic. You can also have access to my shelves of paper — we’re doing a spring cleaning. I’ve owned this press for 22 years. We used it mostly for numbering. I have numbering machines to go with it too, if you’re interested. There “is” a roller, but we cut it in places to accommodate the numbering machine we use. This press is clean and well kept. We used it almost everyday. You can see in the one picture that the original wrenches for it are included.
We didn’t use the original motor, but it DOES run and operate in perfect working order. If you want to see it running email and I’ll send you the video. We used a smaller motor to operate the press because I wanted to keep the motor in working condition. The foot brake, and speed handle are also included and in good order. We’ve taken the motor off and such because of trying to sell it and get it out of the way.
I also have (see pic) a roll “belt” for it in case the belt wears out. It hasn’t in 22 years, but you never know. I paid over 100.00 for the belt material that long ago. I bought extra cause I wasn’t sure I’d be able to get it again.
