C & P Pilot Question

Question? What would be a good height for a table/stand for a Pilot press?

Thanks

I’d say 24-25” should be about right. We have our Pilot on a 12-case type cabinet that is about that height. I believe the cabinet was meant to hold a smallish Showcard tabletop cylinder press, but it puts the our benchtop platen press at about the right height too. We had it on an old segment of a kitchen counter that was closer to 28-30” in height. It was okay for me but a little difficult for my wife to work at that height.

All depends on you and your preferences, sitting or standing, height of the chair or stool, length and position of handle, etc. A comfortable working height will be about the same length as your inseem.

Thanks for the info. I’ll test it at different heights.
