heading machine
I have remembered name of machine like Ludlow: Nebitype, made in Italy. 42 pica slug, own matrices but could with different stick use Ludlow mats.We found it very good.One problem was apprentices used our stock of blanks daytime,night we were forced to cast many blanks.
Previous to Nebi,we used Monotype letters,but they cast with bubble just under type-face, collapsed when stereo-typed. Stereotyper punched type into flong, bruised his fingers.
