This vintage 1920’s proofing press, serial no. 4148, has been reconditioned to good working order with a smooth action. The gear track and cylinder gear teeth are clean and show little wear.

According to the company records, this press was shipped from Vandercook & Sons to the Denver office of ATF on January 22, 1929.

Bed size is 10” by 29”; useable printed area approximately 10” by 20”.

Overall dimensions: 53” W x 26” D x 49” H

Press bed and cabinet: 53” W x 20” D x 37” H

Print head: 14” W x 26” D x 18” H

Approximate Weight: 775 Lbs., can be broken down into three parts.
