C&P Feed Table Dimensions?

Hi there,

We just picked up a 10x15” Chandler and Price (circa 1907) and the two feed tables need replacing. I was wondering if anyone could be so kind as to point us in the direction of the dimensions of the upper and lower feed tables or, if you have a C&P of your own, go give it a measure and or take a few photos for us we would greatly appreciate it.

We are particularly interested in the feed table fork on the upper feed table and how it interacts with the bracket it slots into.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Hey guys, happy to measure up ours and take some photos for you. Our one is a new style. Is that what you guys have? (straight spokes on the fly wheel)

Mine is an old style, I will take some measurements for you later on today.

my press is an oldstyle, the feed board measures 12x15 inches, the delivery is 21-1/2 x 12-1/2 inches.

Excuse the bad photos but this is our set up on the New Style.

The feed board is 375mm x 290mm and the delivery is 520mm x 355mm with about a 50mm strip of timber on back and sides to stop delivered stock disappearing into the depths of an oily press.

I realised that on the close up photo of the restricting pins, that the feed table is actually in backwards but it at least gives you the idea of what they are meant to do. As you will see in two of the images those restriction pins limit the feed table to those two approximate positions.

Our tables are made of heavily varnished chip board which is starting to crumble around the screw holes so at some stage i’ll probably replace with some tough marine ply.

Hope that helps.

This is amazing, thank you so much D&D!
