Homs model 15 paper cutter, blade kiss is uneven
I recently purchased a Homs model 15 paper cutter. It appeared to be in working order. When I got it home I set it up and attempted a test cut with a small paper stack. As I adjusted the bolts for the cut I noted that one side OD the cutter blade is touching the cutting stick and the other side is about 1cm above the cutting stick.
Any ideas on how to adjust?
Are the knife bolts all sitting in a straight line in the carriage ? if the knife is seated square in the carriage and you have no elongated slots to twist the knife in the carriage i would suspect someone stuck a three knife trimmer blade in it , they are narrow enough for these little guillotine but are ground out of parallel for a boooklet trimmer .
