Chandler Price 12 x 18 Press -

I’ve had several people interested in this, but noone has come to look at it. So, that said, I’ve dropped the price.

12 x 18 Chandler Price letterpress. The only number I could find on it is: 1241(dot) A1 — I’m not sure if that is the serial number or not. I was told this is to be from the early 1900s.

I hate to see it go, but I need the space. I will NOT be able to assist in moving it in anyway. (back problems). However, that said, it will easily move on a pallet jack which can be rented for 37.00 for the day. Home Depot has a GREAT trailer that has a lift that is raisable for rent for 64.00 for the day. That’s the way we moved it in. It took about 15 minutes.

It’s extremely heavy.

I also have a Toshiba black and white copier I’ll throw in if you want it.

At this time, it does not have rollers. The rollers we had, because it hadn’t been used in a while, became unusable.

There is also an extra motor to go with it. We have parted out some printing presses (ABDICKS) over the years and I have about 6-8 motors that can be used. You can have your pick. The motor that is with the press works just fine. It’s just good to have an extra and I’m trying to get rid of them.

I have some furniture and a quoin. This press was mostly used for die cutting when it was in production. I then mostly used it for numbering business forms.

Please feel free to call me anytime with questions.

Asking $900.00 OR — will take a good offer.

I will ALSO give 10% of the sale to Briarpress. It’s a great site, and I’d like to continue to support it.

Thanks a lot for looking. This baby needs a good home.
