Buyer Beware - Large Fancy Fonts for Sale
A classified was placed on this site on May 12 titled, “Attention Collectors - Large Fancy Fonts for Sale.” I just want to caution potential buyers to proceed with caution and request pictures.
I should have known better (I’ve been collecting wood and metal type for over a decade), but I paid for two fonts based on the seller’s description, and neither is as described. One is not the face advertised; the other, described as “New,” is used and incomplete.
I requested that the seller either correct the errors or refund my money (I offered to pay return shipping of the incorrect order), but have received no response from two direct inquiries.
