We hate to see this going to the scrap yard. Sure, we will get a few bucks for it, but this is history here. Our shop was started in 1907 and we do believe this is one of the original pieces that we still have. We would like to see it have a good home. Some of the teeth are worn, of course, but over half of them are still in great condition (probably never used!! Don’t wait too long on this as we have about a week to give this a new home! Our building has been sold and you have til 1/23/14 to grab this piece!

Location may be a big help.

North of Pittsburgh, PA, about 40 minutes.

We also have an automatic feed Kluge with 12x18 platen with documentation that it was the first commercially sent press after WW II. We used it almost daily until the shop closed. Sorry, picture won’t download.

Perhaps uploading pictures (set to “public”) on Flickr or Picasaweb will work better… hi-rez pictures are very helpful to prospective purchasers.

If the picture won’t upload it is probabaly because you have included Briarpress-forbidden characters in the name. This happens all the time with C&P pics because of the “&”, not sure what you might conside necessary naming a Kluge pic.
