10 x 15 C&P New Series

I’ve have the wrong sized treadle for my New Series 10 x 15 C & P. (I think it’s for an 8 x 12.)

I need to decide if I can keep this treadle and come up with a way to safely make it work. The question is if it is comparable in length to the one intended for the press.

Can anyone measure the length of their C & P 10 x 15 treadle for me? Or does anyone know where to find this measurement?

Thanks,
Sage

Mine is about 31 1/2” from the front of the foot pedal to the center of the shaft collar. It’s a repro form Hern Ironworks. As you’re getting this press going, you might consider that it takes 6 pumps of the treadle for each impression…

Thanks, Jeff. That’s very helpful!

I have an old style 10x15, with original treadle. It measures 32.5” from the front of the foot pedal to the center of the shaft collar. Not sure if it’s directly compatible with the new style presses, but perhaps the info is useful.
