Envelope Information
Mohawk Paper sent out a link today to their new envelope information guide and it is very thorough. I looked it over and it appears to cover about everything there is to know about envelopes and may be of interest to you, especially if types and styles of envelopes are confusing. Back in the day, when we ran long runs of envelopes by what ever process, we would use pre-cut blanks or run master sheets that would be converted to envelopes. We regularly ran runs of 25,000 envelopes for firms like Wells Fargo bank that had engraved addresses on the flap—much cleaner and faster than trying to run already made envelopes.
