Some dreams must slip away. For me, it is my dream to have a first-rate Ludlow operation: electric Ludlow, over 65 fonts of large and small typefaces (Goudy, Bodoni, Coronet, Delphian, Radiant, Record Gothic, ornaments, etc.), three stands plus extra cases, two self-centering sticks, resurfacer, plenty of extras. I am retired now and subject to a fixed income which will not enable me to set up and operate the equipment. So, with much regret, I have to sell it. I want it to go to someone who will use it and enjoy it. My only other alternative is to sell it to a scrap metal dealer, which would be a waste in my opinion. Please make an offer. Every offer will be considered, but I want to sell it complete, no cherry-picking. Terms would be cash. They buyer would have to pick it up from my ground level garage in a suburb west of Chicago.
