Printing on photo paper

I have a project where I’ll be printing opaque white on top of matte coated photo prints. I typically use oil-based inks for my work. Do I need to use something different here so it will dry properly? These are all one-offs, so I’m hoping to find something that will dry quickly and won’t be too smeary.

thanks,
j

Add some three-way or cobalt drier to the ink. Be sparing with it as sometimes it can loosen ink and you’ll already be dealing with this as a problem given you’re printing on a non-absorbant, coated surface. Direct printing like letterpress always leaves a bit more spread on surfaces such as this.
You probably won’t be able to stack prints, as you’re more likely to need to rack them to prevent set-off and blocking.
