Hammond Glide Saw Part

I finally got all the junk piled on and around my Hammond Glide Saw (G-4) out of the way and fired it up. It works. I had acquired the saw a couple of years ago when I bought some cabinets but had never gotten around to getting it working. The problem I have discovered is that it is missing a rather important part: The Finger and related pieces that fits to the Micrometer Gauge. Without that the saw is just a table saw and almost useless for type kerning, other than rather rough stuff on larger type. I suspect this is not a part I am ever going to find but thought it worth the effort to ask around. The attached image shows the missing part highlighted in yellow.
