The ink is only one year old or less. And when I go to use it, all my inks, I notice they are hard and tar like.
It hard to put on the press, as a little doesn’t smooth out, and more than a few spots of ink (1/8”) is more than I need.
What going wrong?
What kind of inks are you using? Oil? Rubber? From who?
sounds like they are almost gone bad, when my rubber ink gets that bad I toss it. you can try using a tack reducer which might work, I have used it and had some success but it sounds like the ink is old.
I talked to the ink company, they are replace the ink (FREE).
The ink was working great for me, until I closed down for three months to move. The heat in the building might have caused the problem.
