I’m posting this for a friend who describes his press thus: “I bought this 7” x 11” platen press in San Francisco in the early 1970s from a worker at Mackenzie & Harris It is a very solid and reliable press, easy to print with…& its nameplate says it was built in Taiwan in 1969. The press is 20” wide, 20” deep, the handle height is 33.5” and it is (optionally) attached to a 23” x 31” wooden pallet, which makes it easier to move. I had the press reconditioned and cleaned about eight years ago, and the rollers are in excellent condition. It has not been used since then.
The press is currently in a storage unit in Sebastopol and must be picked-up there.”
