Call For Vendors - Ann Arbor Wayzgoose & Printing Festival

We are now accepting vendor applications for the first ever Ann Arbor Wayzgoose & Printing Festival — to take place August 25, 2018 at the Ann Arbor District Library, in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This event will celebrate all forms of printmaking and will feature workshops, demonstrations, and a vendor fair. While the program list is still being finalized, we’re delighted to announce that Jennifer Farrell from Starshaped Press will be our keynote speaker. The Michigan Letterpress Guild’s Summer Meeting will also be held concurrently on site.

Kickoff events include a pop-up exhibit featuring prints from Tribune Showprint and a reception the evening of Friday, August 24 at the Ann Arbor Art Center.

Please apply if you are a vendor specializing in printing equipment or supplies, or if you are a printmaker with works to sell. We are expecting a mixed audience of letterpress and printing enthusiasts looking for supplies and equipment, as well as the general public looking for decorative works. Vendors may wish to plan for both audiences.

We are also still seeking a few individuals to lead demonstrations, workshops, or talks. Interested? Let us know!

• There is no application fee and no vendor fee.
• The vendor fair will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 25, 2018.
• We will provide a 6 foot table and 2 chairs.
• The venue is the downtown location of the Ann Arbor District Library at 343 South Fifth Ave Ann Arbor MI 48104.
• Special considerations for heavy equipment unloading may be possible depending on circumstances and with advance notice. Let us know what you anticipate.

Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2018 at midnight.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance status by June 1, 2018 at the latest, after a review process by AADL’s jury.
