Looking for a good home for a working Monotype combination caster, from which the composition mechanism has been removed, making it a dedicated sorts caster. It is capable of making type from 12 to 72 point. Mats are included. It is currently in Red Wing, Minnesota. There may be an opportunity for free delivery in the Twin Cities metro area when other equipment is moved from this site; otherwise pickup in Redwing will be required. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a working typecaster to make printing type.
The dimensions are approximately 3 feet wide x 4 long x 5 high feet. Weight is estimated at 1,500 pounds. Machine is on ground floor.
