Gripper Arms - C&P Pilot (6x10”)
Hello! I am fairly new to letterpress and just acquired my own C&P pilot press. I need to move the gripper arms so that they don’t hit the boxcar base, but I am not sure how to do so. I’m guessing they can be loosened through the screw facing the chase on each arm, but it’s an unusual octagonal opening. If that’s the case, does anybody know which tool I need to get to do this? Thanks in advance.
You need a 1/8 Allen Key to loosen the set screws in the gripper bar
