Selling my Vandercook Universal I with frisket tower and adjustable bed. It has served me well, but hasn’t been used much in the last couple of years and it is time for it to go to a new owner. Last service was done by Paul Moxon a couple of years ago - used a handful of times since then. Many extra parts included with sale along with records from previous owner. I am the second owner of the press. I have a lot of type - both lead and wood that can be purchased along with the press if the new owner needs more type.
I am asking $12K for the press OBO. Happy to provide additional pictures.
In addition, I have quite a few large wood fonts for sale. There are quite a few so I have placed them on flickr for perusal. If you feel a price is too high, go ahead and make an offer, but fonts are priced based on their worth to me.
I will offer discounts for multiple purchases and if you are local I welcome you to come and visit and choose your fonts from the cases. Discounts of 20% apply to cash/check/in person purchases. Shipping is extra but UPS ground is reasonable.
Make sure to tell me what fonts you are interested in as they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Sorry about some of the picture quality - if you are unsure about a font and would like a better picture let me know and I will do my best to accommodate you.
