Chandler and Price Paper Cutter

From an era when things were built to last, this Chandler and Price paper cutter is in great shape and awaiting a new home. Could maybe use a bit of paint, but all the joints and gears operate smoothly and without play or chatter. The 27” blade was recently sharpened by Sacramento Saw works. It’s an older blade, but plenty of life left in it. I also have a brand new blade that I’ll include as well as some plastic inserts.

I’m unsure of the exact date of manufacture, but based on the patent date on the plate, the cutter could easily be 100 years old and ready for another 100 years of operation if taken care of. I just don’t have the space in my garage for it and two presses.

I am located in Folsom, CA, about 20 miles east of Sacramento. The cutter is on a pallet I constructed of 4x4s and 2x6s and weighs probably 1,000 pounds. I have a pallet jack to help load into your trailer, but you will definitely want to be prepared with a come-along, tiedowns, and possibly a mountain troll to help lift it.

Asking $600 all inclusive, but may consider a trade.
