Great way to pick up extra spending money. My dad used this during retirement and did very well. I paid my way through college doing the same with a smaller press. Selling beautifully restored Chandler & Price 6 1/2 x 10 “Pilot” hand operated letterpress and associated equipment. Press is mounted on its own stand with counter and fresh rollers. Includes over 75 fonts of type, cabinets, rollers, trucks, lots of metal rule, composing sticks, 2 chaises, lead cutter, tympan, miscellaneous paper stock, ink et cetera et cetera et cetera! Will help load. $9,500 or BEST OFFER.This equipment could equip a complete letterpress print shop. It was used to print business cards, radio “QSL” cards, invoices, personalized Christmas cards, letterheads, envelopes and many more items that are not easily produced on modern printing equipment. Even brown paper grocery bags for a grocery store and balloons that are not easily produced with modern graphics equipment were handled with ease. The time has come to relocate and I cannot move all of the type cases, cabinets and equipment. I am located in the north central part of Wisconsin near Minocqua. Note: I AM SELLING THE WHOLE LOT OF EQUIPMENT AND WILL NOT SEPARATE THE PRESS OR INDIVIDUAL TYPE FONTS.
