The press I’m selling is a 1904 Golding Jobber No.7.
My intentions were to further restore it and use it, but personal circumstances conspired to prevent it.
I would simply like to get as much of my investment back as possible: $1,300.oo
I will entertain serious offers to a good home if the price is a hardship.
Local Pickup only. As pictured, it is on dolly wheels, but quite heavy!
Further information and images are available upon request.
It’s missing the treadle and brake pedal. But otherwise is in excellent running condition. It would take a 10x15 chase (not included) Motorized.
Otherwise Included:
1) Motor and mounts
2) Drive belt for motor
3) Metal furniture and spacing material
Provenance:
Acquired from Brian Turskey of Solomon Letterpress: Prarie Grove, Illinois in 01/2023.
He said he acquired it from a college somewhere in Pennsylvania as part of a larger purchase. He sold it to me as-is in current working condition with new (as of late 2022) rubber rollers from Todd’s Press Time, LLC (Todd Boutin).
