Built from solid cast iron during the golden age of American industrial printing machinery, these legendary workhorses were engineered to last generations and remain highly sought after by letterpress operators, bookbinders, printmakers, and equipment preservationists.
* Provenance & Documentation: Originally delivered and operated at The Hays Daily News. Includes the rare, original 1939 manufacturer’s sales flyer/brochure documenting its factory specs and purchase heritage.
* Blades Included: Comes with multiple spare cutting knives. Sourcing and grinding original guillotine blades is one of the biggest ongoing costs for vintage cutters; having a full set of spares included adds substantial immediate value.
Build & Operation: Features C&P’s signature manual screw-down clamp to lock paper stacks true, a cast-iron bed, and a robust mechanical cutting action designed to cleanly slice thick paper reams, book blocks, and heavy chipboard.
