Heidelberg windmill TP gripper carrier
Does anybody have or sell the device that “adjusts” the gripper bar carrier? How about a picture so I can make one. My gripper carrier needs a “chiropractic” adjustment since the paper does not register well when on guides.
There are not alot of service personnel left that know how to service this type of equipment.
The gripper bars are what you bend. Not the carrier.
About 20 years ago, Heidelberg came and adjusted the carriers on one of our windmills. We winced as he placed a 4 foot long solid bar into the open area of the carrier and pushed really hard using the full leverage of the bar. We begged him to be careful but he was a professional and finished the job. We still talk about it. It was a high anxiety moment and wouldn’t recommend anyone try it.
