Profile

The press was established in 1964 with the $10 purchase of a Cincinnati Type Foundry Nonpareil 10x15 platen jobber. I believe I registered with the International Checklog well before 1982 — in fact, in the late 60s, though I can’t document the date.

Bob:
I have had a very nice Washington-style Reliance “Proof Press” since 1978, purchased in Philadelphia in an engravng shop in the uptown area which was actually using it as a cut proofing press. I think the bed is about 18 x 20. How can I register this press in national hand press data base?
My e-mail is [email protected].
Many thanks, many.
Best regards for all your work in printing history.

A teaching press with the name Adlib Press was located at Pratt Graphic Arts Center, New York and was directed by Fritz Eichenberg.

I am looking for any information on Cincinnati Nonparieil Jobbers. I am restoring two 9x12 presses in Arizona and have not located any others still in existence anywhere.
