THE PRESS AT THE PALACE OF THE GOVERNORS

Housed in the oldest continuously-used public building in the United States (since 1610), the Press at the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a working exhibit of 19th and early 20th Century letterpress equipment. Each year, thousands of people visit the Press, and have done so since it began operation in 1970.

Publications of the Press include fine, limited edition books, poetry broadsides and an ever-growing selection of printed ephemera. The Palace Press has been the recipient of numerous national awards, and its imprints are in the collections of major libraries nationwide.
