When the proprietor of Beaver Valley Press (“best printing by a dam site”) decided to pursue his interest in pipe organs rather than printing, I acquired his C&P 10x15 New Style and his collection of type. Now established in a basement in Port Angeles, Washington (not as depressing as it sounds), I’m learning the craft and uncovering the history of letterpress printing on the North Olympic Peninsula.
