Wot grot?

Can anyone help?

The closest I’ve got to identifying this is Monotype Series 318 (Sanserif Condensed). However, the lowercase ‘g’ is different being one-storey instead of two, as well as other subtle differences. So perhaps, Monotype took the original founders (still don’t know who!) design and modified it slightly.

I’m also trying to identify the foundry pin mark.
