Philoxenia Press

Philoxenia Press is a privately operated letterpress studio in Berkeley, California. I use an Albion post-folio & a Vandercook 325G with a very extensive library of printing types. All work is hand composition from metal types & hand inked; there are only two motors in the shop, one for the printer’s saw & one for the Rouse type mortising machine. I have been primarily printing ephemera, but I am now moving on to small books of important, seldom printed literature which I will illustrate.
