Purchased a press the owner stated was a 5 x8 Kelsey with
treadle. Turns the press is not a Kelsey but might be a early
Columbian 5 x 8 treadle. Only markings on flywheel (Boston
Mass.) and a unusual casting on both sides. See Photos.

Update Press ID
Appears to be earlier Colombian 5 x 8 before 1878.
Found no. 20 on top bed should be serial no. Would like
any information available . Sorry for upside down photo??
