Windmill gripper arm problems

I am looking for some advice on my 10x15 windmill. I just got it a couple months ago, but am having a problem with one of the gripper arms. The problem is this: (in “Guides” mode) when one of the arms spins around (toward the guide side of the platen) it is about 1/16” too low which doesn’t allow the gripper arm to “open/release” the paper onto the guide pins. I have removed and switched both arms to see if it was bent, which is not the case. Seems the problem may be the mechanism that “spins” both grippers. I am afraid to bend it or apply much pressure. Anybody ever encounter this? Thanks-

Jason

Try adjusting the threaded shaft that connects the opening mechanism. This adjusts the opening amount of the gripper arms.
